Michelle Waterson vs Tyra Parker

I previously reviewed Michelle “the karate hottie” Waterson in my post entitled, “Supermodels can fight! Not just another pretty face” and was happy to hear that she was fighting the other day for Strikeforce! Michelle was fighting Tyra Parker in a video here.

Waterson won by a rear naked choke in 1 minute 20 seconds of the first round. Michelle seems to be a composed fighter as evidenced by her first tactic of striking. She was doing fine against Parker with her punches but rapidly transitioned to grappling. Parker’s bombs (wide hooking rights) might have done some damage so Michelle got in close and worked a few knees to soften Tyra up. Michelle was able to switch easily to the choke!

 

 



I have watched some of Michelle’s other fights and noticed that she is a patient fighter that is quite willing to make something happen to tip the scales in her favor.  I found this NAGA (North America Grappling Association) fight and noted Michelle has some good ground skills.

 

 

As has been previously reported Michelle Waterson is a Hooters Girl and a model. I found this wildly circulated picture of her in a bikini. You would never believe she is a serious fighter to see her at the beach but as you have already seen – this gal can fight!

 

 

I’ve seen some reports of her signing with EliteXC so it will be good to get some more talent into that league! I had the choice of reviewing that or Michelle Waterson… but after the Kimbo Slice over-hype and rapid knockout – I will wait until they (EliteXC) get some better fighters before reviewing them (but Gina Carano was and is always good)!

    Anyways, lets back to topic. So, this girl takes karate and kicks [butt] and above all she is hot. That’s a very sexy combination a “sexy karateka”.
